Halima Hospital
Feeling the need to provide medical care and
attention to the people of the area who were miserably poor,
absolutely destitute and totally illiterate, some of us grouped
together to establish the Hub-Pak Charitable Trust Dispensary. It
started functioning on 2/1/1997 with a male doctor, a dispenser and
a few other staff.
Due to the generous support of our relations, friends and
well-wishers, the 'dispensary' grew into a full-fledged and well-established CLINIC
providing medical care under the able supervision of a male and a
female doctor in a few years.
Complete pathological lab and X-ray were also made available on the
premises under expert supervision. As more diagnostic and surgical services were
added, the humble dispensary is now an 'OPD' Hospital!
On the average, we treat over a 150 patients daily.
Our charges are so nominal that the total expenses
far exceed the income generated.
